In a world of such abundance, we believe no one, especially children, should have to struggle with hunger or food insecurity. We want to create a more equal financial world, but if our children are distracted by hunger they cannot thrive in school and grow to become prosperous adults. A filling meal is the first step to literacy, financial or otherwise.

They have a [4-star rating from Charity Navigator](https://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.summary&orgid=5271) with 98.5% of their expenses going to their mission and only 0.2% spent on administrative costs.
